Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
~ It’s not the things that are happening which should upset us, it is the loss of souls that troubles us the most. It’s okay to take notice of what is occurring, it gives us an idea of where false prophets and evil are or will be working.
All the events that we are witnessing: sham marriages, blurred genders, doctrine changes to please society, climate change, etc etc. All this has to happen, it is being directed by God, there is no stopping any of this. Christ tells us that all of that and more is going to happen, we can’t stop it.
What we can do is attempt to save a few souls. Those that contend against us, the legions of false prophets and fake Christs, they have already lost the battle, now the objective is to woe the weak in the faith and those who have no faith.
Our objective is to continue delivering the message of the saving grace of Christ, for without it many will meet their fate. The choice that they are offered is no different than the “forbidden fruit”, we have a limited opportunity to offer the Kingdom.
So, don’t be too concerned with worldly matters for the world is fading away, but do be concerned for all the souls racing down the wide path.
